Studio Lab is a guided creative space where BugByte students can take a finished song and turn it into a fully produced track — with hands-on support every step of the way.

You’ll work directly with our QueenBee and her team to turn your idea into a fully produced, mixed, and mastered track — while learning real production skills along the way.

A 15-week container with clear milestones

We work in phases, setting clear goals each step of the way so you always know what’s next.

6 bi-weekly coaching sessions

Every other week, you’ll meet with a coach to move your track forward and build your skills.

Weekly progress check-ins + student tasks

Stay on track between sessions with guided assignments and support.

3+ Pro sessions

We’ll bring in top-tier musicians and engineers to elevate your sound.

Help with DAW tools, vocal comping, pitch correction

Learn essential production techniques in Logic or your DAW of choice.

Mix prep coaching + delivery of a release-ready track

We’ll guide you through organizing stems, final revisions, and preparing your song for mixing and mastering — with a professionally mixed and mastered track delivered at the end.

  • Need a supportive, deadline-based structure

If you’re not quite ready, we’ll help you get there through lessons and workshops.

What It Costs 

Studio Lab is an add-on service, priced as a 15-week project:

 

  • $125 deposit to reserve your spot in BugByte’s production cue.
  • 12 weekly payments of $125

Includes all coaching, planning, and 3+ editing sessions (or equivalent session players).

  1. Kickoff & Production Prep — Gather all materials, identify missing pieces, and prep your track for collaboration.

  2. Comping & Vocal Production — Learn how to build a polished vocal take using pro comping strategies.

  3. Arrangement & Instrumentation — Design your sonic landscape and work with session players.

  4. Editing + Melodyne — Get hands-on with vocal editing and pitch correction tools.

  5. Mix Prep & File Delivery — Finalize your stems, label everything, and prepare for mixing.

  6. Final Review & Release Planning — Review the mix, handle any revisions, and get ready for release.
